Welcome to the team! Discord is our main communication hub. It keeps everyone connected, informed, and organized. Here’s everything you need to know to use it the right way.

1. Check Discord Daily

Discord is part of your daily routine at Done Right Cleaning.

  • Check your channels before your shift starts and at the end of your day.

  • Keep notifications on so you don’t miss schedule updates or messages from management.

  • Most team announcements and reminders are posted here first.

2. Channels You’ll Use

Here’s what each channel is for:

news-and-updates: Important updates from management, including policy reminders, team events, and company news.

shift-offerings: Used when you need to give up or pick up a shift. Always include the client name, date, and time.

cleaning-pictures: Share before and after photos of your cleans. These photos help showcase our work and may be used for marketing or internal recognition.

inventory-tracking: Post what products or supplies you’ve taken or restocked so we can track everything properly.

general-chat: A place to chat with the team, share tips, or say hello. Keep it friendly, positive, and work-appropriate.

google-review-wins: Management will show off your 5 star Google reviews from clients.

strategy-channel: Share a tip or ask for cleaning advice from your teammates.

suggestions-for-management: Make suggestions for new tools, protocols, and policies that you feel will make your life easier at DRC.

3. Messaging Etiquette

A few quick reminders for how we communicate on Discord:

  • Keep messages short, clear, and professional.

  • Only tag management when necessary using @Jaydeen or @Connor.

  • Keep things respectful and use a positive tone in all communication.

4. When to Use Discord vs Jobber

Discord: for communication, team updates, supply tracking, and sharing photos.Jobber: for job notes, checklists, schedules, and time tracking.Think of Discord as your team space and Jobber as your work system.

5. Recognition and Engagement

We notice who participates. Being active in Discord by sharing pictures, helping teammates, and communicating regularly helps you stand out. It plays a big role in recognition programs like Cleaner of the Month.

6. Troubleshooting Tips

If you’re not getting notifications:

  • Check your phone settings to make sure Discord notifications are turned on.

  • Confirm you’ve joined the official Done Right Cleaning Discord server.

  • Reach out to management if you need help accessing your account.

Final Tip

Discord is where our team culture lives. Stay active, use it often, and keep it professional. It’s one of the easiest ways to stay connected and make a great impression at Done Right Cleaning.
