1. Gather What You Need

Before starting, make sure you have:

  • Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach

  • Toilet brush

  • Disposable gloves

  • Microfiber cloth or paper towel

2. Safety First

  • Always wear gloves to protect your hands from bleach.

  • Never mix Lysol Toilet Cleaner with any other product, especially vinegar, acid-based cleaners, or anything containing ammonia.

  • Make sure the bathroom is ventilated by opening a window or turning on the fan.

3. Apply the Product

  • Lift the toilet seat and lid.

  • Point the angled nozzle under the toilet rim and squeeze the bottle gently, applying the cleaner evenly around the bowl.

  • Make sure to coat under the rim where buildup often hides.

Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to disinfect and break down stains.

4. Scrub and Rinse

  • Use a toilet brush to scrub under the rim and along the entire bowl.

  • Flush once or twice to rinse away residue.

5. Wipe Down Exterior

  • Using a damp microfiber cloth and your all-purpose cleaner, wipe the toilet seat, handle, and base.

  • Do not use Lysol Toilet Cleaner on any area other than the inside of the bowl, as it can damage finishes or discolour surfaces.

6. Finishing Touch

Inspect the toilet for missed spots and ensure the area around the base is clean and dry.

Bleach products are powerful and should always be used intentionally, never excessively.
